Personal Data collected
Buzzer collects Personal Data directly and through third-party providers. The categories include Trackers, session count, session duration, device information, Usage Data, username, app information, various categories of Data, payment information, crash data, diagnostics, product interaction, email address, password, country, answers to questions, clicks, keypress events, motion-sensor events, mouse movements, scroll position, touch events, geography or region, number of Users, in-app purchases, application opens, application updates, launches, and operating systems.
The details for each category are explained in the sections below or in notices displayed before the relevant collection takes place. Users may provide Personal Data themselves. Usage Data may also be collected automatically when Buzzer is used.
Unless this Policy says otherwise, Data requested by Buzzer is required. If the required Data is not supplied, Buzzer may be unable to provide the Service. Where Buzzer states that certain Data is optional, Users may decline to provide it without affecting Service availability or operation. Users may contact the Owner if they are unsure which Data is required.
Buzzer and third-party services integrated with Buzzer may use Cookies or other Trackers to deliver the Service requested by the User and for the additional purposes described in this Policy.
Users are responsible for any Personal Data of third parties that they obtain, publish, or share through Buzzer.
How and where Data is processed
Processing methods
The Owner applies security measures intended to protect Data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Processing is performed with computers and other IT-enabled tools under procedures connected to the stated purposes.
Besides the Owner, Data may be accessible to persons involved in operating Buzzer, such as administration, sales, marketing, legal, and system-administration personnel. External parties may also receive access where needed, including technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies, and communications agencies appointed as Data Processors. The current list of such parties may be requested from the Owner.
Place of processing
Data is processed at the Owner's operating offices and at the locations where the parties involved in processing are established. Depending on where the User is located, Data may be transferred to a country other than the User's own country. More detail about transfers is provided in the sections concerning Personal Data processing and international transfer.
Retention
Unless a different period is stated in this Policy, Personal Data is processed and stored for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. It may be retained longer where required by law or where the User has given consent.
Purposes of processing
The Owner collects Data to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, respond to enforcement requests, protect the Owner's rights and interests and those of Users or third parties, detect malicious or fraudulent activity, and carry out the processing activities listed below.
The purposes include analytics, beta testing, A/B and feature testing, Data transfers outside the United Kingdom, Data transfers outside the European Union, payment handling, hosting and backend infrastructure, infrastructure monitoring, platform services and hosting, registration and authentication, direct registration and authentication by Buzzer, social features, spam protection, traffic optimization and distribution, and contact management and messaging.

Analytics
Analytics services help the Owner measure traffic, understand use of Buzzer, and evaluate User behavior.
App Center - Analytics (Microsoft Corporation). This Microsoft analytics service processes device information, number of sessions, session duration, and Trackers. Place of processing: United States.
Google Analytics (Universal Analytics) (Google Ireland Limited). Google uses collected Data to track and evaluate use of Buzzer, prepare activity reports, and share information with other Google services. Google may use the Data to contextualize and personalize ads in its own advertising network. Personal Data processed: Trackers and Usage Data. Place of processing: Ireland. Users may refer to Google's privacy and opt-out materials.
Google Analytics for Firebase (Google Ireland Limited). Firebase Analytics is used for mobile analytics and may share Data with other Firebase tools, including Crash Reporting, Authentication, Remote Config, and Notifications. Buzzer uses mobile-device identifiers and technologies similar to cookies for this service. Some Firebase features may be disabled through device settings or other Firebase instructions. Personal Data processed: application opens, application updates, device information, geography or region, in-app purchases, launches, number of sessions, number of Users, operating systems, and session duration. Place of processing: Ireland.
Beta testing
Beta-testing services allow the Owner to manage access to Buzzer or to specific features for testing. Providers may collect crash information and usage statistics in a personally identifiable form.
TestFlight (Apple Inc.). TestFlight is Apple's beta-testing service. Personal Data processed: app information, device information, Usage Data, and username. Place of processing: United States.
Content performance and feature testing
These services let the Owner test and analyze how Users respond to changes in traffic, behavior, structure, text, or other elements of Buzzer.
Firebase Remote Config (Google Ireland Limited). Firebase Remote Config supports A/B testing and configuration. It processes the categories of Data described in the service provider's privacy policy. Place of processing: Ireland.
Payment handling
Unless otherwise stated, payments by credit card, bank transfer, or other methods are handled through external payment providers. Users usually provide payment information and related Personal Data directly to those providers. Buzzer does not collect or process those payment details itself and generally receives only confirmation of whether a payment was completed.
Payments processed through the Apple App Store (Apple Inc.). Apple processes the Personal Data needed to complete purchases under the App Store privacy policy. Personal Data processed: payment information and Usage Data. Place of processing: United States.
Payments processed through the Google Play Store (Google Ireland Limited). Google processes the Personal Data needed to complete purchases under the Google Play Store privacy policy. Personal Data processed: payment information and Usage Data. Place of processing: Ireland.
Hosting and backend infrastructure
Hosting and infrastructure services store Data and files that allow Buzzer to operate, be distributed, and provide specific features. Some providers use geographically distributed servers, so the exact storage location may vary.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) (Amazon Web Services, Inc.). AWS provides hosting and backend infrastructure. It processes the categories of Data described in its privacy policy. Place of processing: Ireland.
Infrastructure monitoring
Monitoring services allow Buzzer to evaluate the operation, behavior, maintenance, performance, and troubleshooting of its components. The Data processed depends on the implementation and the monitored activity.
Firebase Performance Monitoring (Google Ireland Limited). This service monitors performance and processes the categories of Data described in the provider's privacy policy. Place of processing: Ireland.
App Center - Diagnostics (Microsoft Corporation). This Microsoft monitoring service processes crash data and device information. Place of processing: United States.
Managing contacts and sending messages
These services help manage contact databases and communicate with Users. They may collect when a message is viewed and how the User interacts with it, including link clicks.
Firebase Notifications (Google Ireland Limited). Firebase Notifications sends messages and can work with Firebase Analytics to target audiences and track opens or conversions. It processes the categories of Data described in Google's privacy policy. Place of processing: Ireland.
Platform services and hosting
Platform services host and run key parts of Buzzer and may provide tools such as analytics, registration, comments, database management, e-commerce, and payment processing. Some platforms use distributed infrastructure, so exact processing locations may be difficult to determine.
App Store Connect (Apple Inc.). Buzzer is distributed through Apple's App Store. App Store Connect lets the Owner manage Buzzer and, depending on configuration, provides analytics about engagement, discovery, marketing, sales, in-app purchases, and payments. Apple provides this data only for Users who have agreed to share it with the Owner. Personal Data processed: diagnostics and product interaction. Place of processing: United States.
Google Play Store (Google Ireland Limited). Buzzer is distributed through Google Play. Because of that distribution, Google collects usage and diagnostics data and may share aggregate information with the Owner, often on an opt-in basis. Users may disable analytics features in device settings. Personal Data processed: Usage Data. Place of processing: Ireland.
Registration and authentication
Registration or authentication allows Buzzer to identify Users and grant access to dedicated services. Third-party authentication providers may store Data that Buzzer can access for registration or identification. Some providers may also collect Data for targeting or profiling, as described in their own notices.
Google OAuth (Google Ireland Limited). Google OAuth is a registration and authentication service connected to Google's network. It processes the categories of Data described in Google's privacy policy. Place of processing: Ireland.
Direct registration and authentication by Buzzer
Users may register by completing Buzzer's registration form and providing Data directly to Buzzer. The Data is collected and stored only for registration, identification, and provision of the requested service. Personal Data processed: country, email address, and password.
Social features
Firebase Dynamic Links (Google Ireland Limited). Dynamic Links is a Firebase social feature. Links are tracked through Firebase or Google Analytics for Firebase and inform the Owner about the User's journey to and within Buzzer. It processes the categories of Data described in Google's privacy policy. Place of processing: Ireland.
Spam protection
Spam-protection services analyze Buzzer traffic that may include Personal Data in order to filter parts of traffic, messages, or content recognized as spam.
Google reCAPTCHA (Google Ireland Limited). reCAPTCHA is provided by Google and is subject to Google's privacy policy and terms. Personal Data processed: answers to questions, clicks, keypress events, motion-sensor events, mouse movements, scroll position, touch events, Trackers, and Usage Data. Place of processing: Ireland.
Traffic optimization and distribution
These services distribute Buzzer content through servers in different countries and optimize performance. The Data processed depends on the service setup, and the services may filter communications between Buzzer and the User's browser. Because these systems are widely distributed, content that includes Personal Data may be transferred through several locations.
Cloudflare (Cloudflare Inc.). Cloudflare optimizes and distributes traffic and filters communications between Buzzer and the User's browser while allowing analytical Data from Buzzer to be collected. It processes the categories of Data described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. Place of processing: United States.
Additional processing information
Push notifications
Buzzer may send push notifications for the purposes described in this Policy. Users can usually opt out through device notification settings for Buzzer or for all apps on the device. Disabling push notifications may reduce the usefulness of Buzzer.
Push notifications for direct marketing
Buzzer may send push notifications for direct marketing, including offers for third-party services or products unrelated to Buzzer's own product or service. Users may opt out through device settings and may also exercise the rights described in this Policy.
Selling goods and services online
Personal Data may be used to provide services or sell goods, including payment and possible delivery. Payment-related Data may include credit-card details, bank-account details used for transfers, or other payment means, depending on the payment system used.
Age restriction
Users declare that they are adults under the law that applies to them. Minors may not use Buzzer.

Legal basis for processing
The Owner may process Personal Data when at least one of the following applies: the User has consented to one or more specific purposes; Data is necessary for an agreement with the User or pre-contractual steps; processing is required to comply with a legal obligation; processing is connected to a task carried out in the public interest or under official authority; or processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the Owner or a third party.
The Owner will help clarify which legal basis applies, including whether providing Data is a statutory or contractual requirement or is necessary to enter into a contract.
Retention details
Personal Data collected for performance of a contract between the Owner and the User is kept until that contract has been fully performed. Data processed for the Owner's legitimate interests is kept as long as necessary for those interests. Data processed with User consent may be kept until the consent is withdrawn, unless another legal basis permits or requires retention.
The Owner may retain Personal Data longer when required to comply with legal obligations or orders from authorities. Once retention is no longer justified, the Data will be deleted. After deletion, rights such as access, erasure, rectification, and portability cannot be exercised for that Data.
User rights
Users may exercise rights concerning Data processed by the Owner, subject to legal conditions and limits. These rights include withdrawing consent, objecting to processing, accessing Data, verifying and requesting correction of Data, restricting processing, requesting erasure, receiving Data and transferring it to another controller where applicable, and lodging a complaint with a competent data-protection authority.
When Data is processed for the public interest, under official authority, or for legitimate interests, Users may object by explaining grounds connected with their particular situation. Users may object to direct marketing at any time without providing a reason.
Requests may be sent to the Owner using the contact details in this Policy. The Owner will respond within the period required by applicable law.
Transfers outside the European Union
Where the legal basis is standard contractual clauses, transfers of Personal Data from the EU to third countries are carried out under European Commission clauses requiring recipients to follow EU data-protection standards. Users may contact the Owner for more information.
Transfers outside the United Kingdom
Where a UK adequacy regulation applies, Personal Data may be transferred from the UK to third countries recognized by the UK Government as providing comparable protection. The Information Commissioner's Office publishes the current list of adequacy regulations.

The Owner may update this Policy at any time by notifying Users on this page and, where technically and legally feasible, through Buzzer or the contact information available to the Owner. Definitions and legal references
Personal Data or Data means information that directly, indirectly, or together with other information can identify or make identifiable a natural person.
Usage Data means information automatically collected through Buzzer or through third-party services used by Buzzer, such as IP addresses, domain names, URI addresses, request time, request method, response size, server-status code, country of origin, browser and operating-system features, time spent in the Application, path followed within the Application, and other technical parameters of the device, operating system, or IT environment.
User means the individual using Buzzer, unless otherwise stated, and usually corresponds to the Data Subject.
Data Subject means the natural person to whom Personal Data relates.
Data Processor or Processor means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body that processes Personal Data on behalf of the Controller.
Data Controller or Owner means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body that determines the purposes and means of processing Personal Data. Unless otherwise stated, the Owner is the Data Controller for Buzzer.
Buzzer means the means by which Personal Data is collected and processed.
Service means the service provided by Buzzer as described in the relevant terms and on Buzzer.
Cookie means a Tracker consisting of a small set of data stored in the User's browser.
Tracker means any technology, including Cookies, unique identifiers, web beacons, embedded scripts, e-tags, and fingerprinting, that enables tracking of Users by accessing or storing information on the User's device.
